Dates and details for our 2026 ELT Conference coming soon
In 2025, the English UK ELT Conference was held in London on Friday 28 February and Saturday 1 March.
The event is our largest annual gathering of academic English language teaching staff. This conference is for English language teaching professionals looking for professional development, the latest tools and techniques in our sector, and a space to discuss best practice in ELT management and teaching.

Overview
On Friday, the conference programme focused on academic management and Saturday concentrated on teaching practice.
Michael Rosen returned to the ELT Conference for the second year
We were delighted to have poet and children's author Michael Rosen back for the second year in 2025.
This year, Michael gave the closing talk on day two of the conference, entertaining delegates with stories from his own experiences of learning Latin, French, German, Old English and Yiddish.

We were also excited to welcome Sarah Seaman to the ELT Conference for the first time.
Sarah's session explored innovative learning environments and the transformative journey of fostering inclusivity for neurodivergent learners.
