Study English in Wales

Study English in Cardiff
Cardiff is the capital city of Wales. It has a modern waterside area, lively nightlife, and lots of sports events including Wales's national sport, rugby.
The city's most famous landmark, Cardiff Castle, is one of 100 castles still standing in Wales!
Study English in Swansea
Swansea is a city on the south coast of Wales, with a big sandy beach. Students in Swansea can cycle to Mumble fishing village at the other end of the bay, or take a daytrip to see the beautiful scenary and beaches on the Gower peninsula, including the famous Three Cliffs Bay.
Study English in Aberystwyth
Aberyswtsyth is historic market town in the North of Wales. It is close to Snowdonia National Park, which is home to highest mountain in Wales, Mount Snowdon.
Three reasons to study in Wales
#1 Wales has more castles per square mile than any other country in Europe
There are over 100 castles still standing in Wales. Some are romantic ruins, and others are still used as homes.
Among the most impressive castles are the 'Iron Ring' of castles. These were built in the 13th century by King Edward I of England to control the population of North Wales. It was Europe's most expensive medieval military building project.
#2 Wales is a bilingual country: 19% of the population can speak Welsh
Wales has two official languages: English and Welsh. You'll see road signs in two languages all over Wales, and sometimes you will hear people speaking Welsh.
Everyone who speaks Welsh can also speak English, so international students will be able to practice English everywhere they visit.
#3 Wales is home to three national parks which cover 20% of the country
Wales has three national parks, plus five Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, making it a paradise for nature-lovers and adventure-seekers.
Snowdonia National Park is home to dramatic scenary and snow-topped mountains. Visitors can reach the top of Wales's highest mountain, Mount Snowdon, by hiking or by steam train on the Snowdon Mountain Railway.
The Brecon Beacons National Park is in the South of Wales is an area of hills and mountains, and includes the Vale of Neath, known as 'waterfall country'.
Pembrokeshire National Park has a spectacular, wild coastline, popular for walking and surfing.
