NILE are running a free webinar on Content and Language Integrated Learning for teachers and have invited fellow English UK members to join them on Thursday 2 April, 14.00 GMT.

The 40 minute webinar will cover feedback and assessment in CLIL with Jason Skeet, Lecturer in Teacher Education at City College Norwich and course writer for NILE's latest online teacher development course (Content and Language Integrated Learning), with years of experience in bilingual education and CLIL.

Feedback and assessment in CLIL raises a number of challenges for teachers. For example, teachers need to know how to give feedback on language use. They also have to judge what the balance can be in terms of assessing content and language whilst also recognising the ways in which language and content are intertwined in the learning process.

The webinar explores some specific approaches and practical suggestions that can be applied in a CLIL classroom.
