The event will consist of presentations from the Central Government departments responsible for the Vetting & Barring Scheme as well as the Independent Safeguarding Authority (ISA) and the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB).

It will include an explanation of the Scheme, interpretation of Guidance and a briefing of how the CRB and ISA will operate specific aspects such as Referrals, the Decision Making Process and Online Checking. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions to panel.
