English UK is delighted to welcome its newest national association: English UK Wales.
Formed this month, the group has eight founding member centres, including seven language schools and a further education college. Chair Dave Henson, principal of WE Bridge International said: "I'm really excited about members working together. We are all aiming for the same thing, to increase the overall number of students experiencing this excellent destination."
Why study English in Wales? Wales' famously friendly people, international sporting events, world-famous castles and outstanding beaches are some of the reasons that Emelyne Burkhard, from Celtic English Academy, and vice chair of English UK Wales, extols.
These, along with the country's outstanding cities, quality of life rating, its warm welcome for students and beautiful countryside, are just some of the selling points that English UK Wales will be promoting to agents via familiarisation trips, inward missions and other marketing activities.
In addition to promoting the country's unique offer for international students, the group is aiming to highlight the value of educational tourism to the nation.
The English UK Wales website is currently under construction. For further information on this association, please contact emelyne@celticenglish.co.uk
