Catch up with the English UK team at industry events in Q1 2025

The English UK team will attend a number of events in the first quarter of 2025. Drop by our booth/ table for a chat or join one of the seminars we're hosting. 

The whole English UK team will be in Manchester to deliver our first StudyWorld event in the north of England.

Roz McGill and Naadiya Rawat will be in Dubai to promote member centres and UK ELT to education agents and educators recruiting students from across the Middle East and North Africa. Find them at exhibitor table 26. Drop by the table or schedule a meeting.

On Wednesday at 18:00, Roz will moderate a round table on Balancing pricing and demand: evolving trends in ELT. Come along and help shape the conversation.

Huan Japes and English UK Chair Shoko Doherty will attend the ICEF Middle East Scholarship and Partnership Summit and represent English UK in Oman. They will meet with regional industry stakeholders, higher education institutions and scholarship organisations from GCC countries.

The whole English UK team will be in London for the ELT Conference. The conference is our largest annual gathering of academic English language teaching staff.

English UK's special interest group for providers of young learners courses will hold their AGM in London in March. Huan Japes will attend in behalf of English UK.

English UK is joining forces with the British Consulate in Sao Paulo, BELTA and the Department for Business and Trade to host an event for agents in Brazil. Roz McGill will deliver a training seminar for Brazilian agents. This will be followed by the launch of Brazil's largest publication focused on international education, EI! Magazine. The magazine is published annually by BELTA and the 2025 edition will feature the United Kingdom as its 'feature' country.  

Roz will also attend ST Alphe Brazil.

Naadiya Rawat will attend YEDAB's networking event, which will bring together members of the Turkish agent association YEDAB, international education representatives, and service providers.
