English UK membership has just reached an all-time high.
Tellus Plymouth has just become the 446th member of the organisation, which has grown steadily since it was created in 2004.
There are now 353 private centres and 93 from the state sector in membership.
When English UK was formed from ARELS, the organisation for private language schools, and BASELT, which represented state sector institutions, there were 320 members in all.
Roz Rozidor, membership manager, said rising numbers were a testament to the benefits of joining English UK.
