English Language Market Reports: influence the content and direction of future reports
27 January 2017

We'd like our members to complete a very short survey to tell us your thoughts on our English Language Market Reports series and to help influence the content and direction of future reports.

Dave Allan from English UK member NILE (Norwich Institute for Language Education) has been commissioned to write the report on Brazil and is keen to receive your views on what particular aspects this market report should focus on. He will be meeting agents and other in-country stakeholders next month (in February)

What are these English Language Reports?

Since 2011 the British Council and English UK have produced a series of market intelligence reports specifically for the accredited UK English language teaching (ELT) sector. The reports aim to provide support to the sector in recruiting students from key new, emerging and changing overseas markets.

This ELT-specific market information is intended to help British Council accredited institutions gain insight into how the education market works in the target countries; helping them build closer connections with, and promote their products to, potential students and their influencers, overseas partners, study abroad agents, educational tour operators and other stakeholders.

To date we have published reports on China, Colombia, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Spain and Turkey. We will be publishing reports on Brazil and the Gulf States in 2017.
