The 2025 English UK Board election
24 April 2025

The 2025 English UK Board election

We're proud to have 17 passionate candidates standing for six available seats on our board, each bringing unique experience and perspective to the future of UK ELT.

We encourage voting members to take the time to review all candidates' statements and videos before casting their vote.

Everybody belongs in UK ELT

At English UK, we recognise that everybody belongs in UK ELT. We embrace diversity and value everyone's perspectives and contributions, which is why we have a Representation, Inclusion, Diversity, and Engagement Committee (RIDEC).

The role of RIDEC is to ensure that as many types of organisations and individuals as possible are included on the board and association committees and that members from every background are involved in association activities. Voting members are encouraged to consider this when casting their vote.

How to vote in the English UK Board election

Voting is restricted to English UK member centres. Each member centre has one vote. Members who represent a group of centres receive one vote for each centre in membership. Voting opened on Monday 22 April. The deadline for voting is 23:45 on Tuesday 6 May.
