English UK is proud to announce that its DELTM tutor, Terry Phillips, has won an award for the English for Specific Academic Purposes series, to which he is a regular contributor.

English UK was delighted to be invited to contribute to a seminar on youth and educational travel trends as part of the official World Travel Market programme on Wednesday 11 November.

There are now only 7 days remaining to book your place at the 2009 ELT Teachers' Conference on Saturday 14th November. This event will be held at its home of the last few years, Prospero House, near London Bridge. 

This conference boasts a strong programme featuring plenary sessions by Alan Waters and Adrian Tennant along with workshops and sessions from a range of leading ELT practitioners including Mark Hancock, Mario Rinvolucri, Hugh Dellar and Martin Hewings.

The next episode of the British Council's evening seminar series will take place at Spring Gardens on 10th November. George Pickering will inspire and motivate leaders and managers in language schools and institutions to face these challenging times.
