Capital School of English is an independent, family run language school in Bournemouth on the South Coast of England. We pride ourselves in creating a truly enriched learning experience for students both in and out of the classroom. We are able to provide a 360 degree provision where students can live, study, develop and achieve together. COURSES We offer a range of English language courses allowing students to choose to study for 15, 20 or 30 hours per week: •General English •Exam Preparation (FCE, CAE, CPE & Academic IELTS) •English for Work Our General English, English for Work and Academic IELTS classes run year-round, with new students able to start on any Monday. All Cambridge English Exam Preparation Courses have specific start dates throughout the year. NEW ENGLISH+ COURSES Our NEW ENGLISH+courses aim at delivering English courses targeting specific areas. The courses are 5 additional hours per week meaning they can be combined with ANY standard (15 hours per week) course. Courses available include: English for Work, Exam Skills, Survival English, British Culture, Reading & Writing, English for Social Media and Pronunciation. MINI-STAY/PON Capital School of English’s Mini-Stay and PON Group programmes are tailor-made courses to suit the needs of each individual group. We are able to offer a balance of academic, cultural and social activities. SOCIAL ACTIVITIES AND EXCURSIONS Throughout the year we run an excellent social/cultural programme where language is the key focus, supporting learning outside the classroom in a safe and friendly environment. We employ a year round Social Organiser. ACCOMMODATION Capital School of English boasts many fantastic homestay opportunities where students can practice English and learn about English culture in the safety of an English family home. Additionally, we have a summer residential facility located within easy reach of our main and Summer sites. STUDENT WELFARE The welfare of our students is extremely important with all members of staff being safeguarding trained and DBS checked.
